Back in 2017, thirty-four elephants were translocated from Liwonde National Park to fast-track the recovery of critical numbers of elephants. The 3,200 km2 of Nyika national parks (two parks with the same name straddle the international border between Malawi and Zambia), provides a fantastic playground for these magnificent animals. So, it’s always joyous to see signs of their movements – even if it is only their dung!
