At Peace Parks Foundation every animal counts. And this shines through in the story of Hunter. It was Dolf Botha, the Counter-Poaching Unit Coordinator, who found him struggling as a pup and brought him back to the camp at Limpopo. Unable to excel at tracking, a place was nevertheless found for Hunter on the team. Not only does he keep large game like elephant away from camp he also puts a smile on everyone’s face – always there with a wagging tail and a welcome.
