As a planner for Peace Parks Johalize Koch has a very long to-do list. But it’s not an easy job when all you can see is untamed wilderness. Johalize has to work out where the sun will be setting when visitors will be drinking sundowners outside their tented camps. Or where best to place the access road so that the route into camp remains an exciting, mysterious journey. Luckily, Johalize has a great imagination and a keen eye, so she can ensure the tourists are happy but, most importantly, the hippo pods and elephant herds are not disturbed in their natural habitat.
