National park runs off-grid

Zinave National Park in Mozambique is a pretty wild and remote place. So, in order to provide a comfortable living and working environment for staff that work there, Peace Parks Foundation has made use of solar power to develop fully off-grid facilities. Solar power pumps water from the boreholes, provides electricity and is a vital factor in being able to manage the park.
