Stefan is at the Luangwa river in the Malawi-Zambia Transfrontier Conservation Area. This is a major tributary of the Zambezi river, and has the highest population of hippo anywhere in the world. The official count is 48 hippo per kilometre of river! Shame they are not coming out today to greet Stefan.

Fresh start for Hyenas
Maputo National Park had only five spotted hyena as part of the carnivore guild, and we are here to film the final part in the relocation of three more from Sabie Game Park.
