These are successfully rewilded giraffe. There used to be very few animals left in Maputo Special Reserve so a sight like this is a beautiful reminder of just what can be achieved through translocation. Now there are over 10,000 animals of various species in the park. And this process is being undertaken in many other parks and reserves in southern Africa.
