When the pans flood the campsites really do come to life, as the water brings with it thousands of migratory birds. Fish Eagle Camp, on the edges of this pan, is also undergoing a transformation. Through Peace Parks’ co-management initiative the meeting hall has been restored and the lodges and facilities are being constructed or renovated. This will secure a fully self-catered camp for those who want to enjoy the wilderness of Banhine National Park.
