It is all about collaboration and preparation when it comes to translocating elephant. Here, the first stage of production is underway – constructing metal containers to hold the elephant during transportation. These huge crates – tailormade according to the size of elephant – will sit on top of trucks and keep the animals safe and secure during their long journey. This is a massive team effort by ANAC (Mozambique’s National Administration for Conservation Areas), Peace Parks Foundation and ICWCA supported with expertise from Conservation Solutions and wildlife vets.
