Conservation success story

The fact that this large tusker is happy to wander so close into camp is a nice indication of how safe it feels. Over ten years ago elephant like this one were hunted here, so encounters with humans would have been avoided. Now, it’s a different story. It is true that elephant have long memories, and this one is making some good ones!
