School project to restore lost woodlands

School children in Simalaha are excited to be part of an innovative project. Using Groasis Waterboxxes®, donated by the COmON Foundation, they will grow thousands of indigenous trees using 90% less water. The trees will be planted by communities in the hope of restoring woodlands lost to deforestation. And that is just the beginning. In the future these trees will provide nuts, fruit and medicinal ingredients too.
