THE STORY OF PEACE PARKS

For more than two decades, Peace Parks Foundation has been hard at work in our mission to restore, protect and conserve some of southern Africa’s most endangered ecosystems. With nature in all its forms declining at an unprecedented rate, there has never been a more crucial time to play a part in countering the devastating effects that this could have on us and our planet.

With Africa being home to around a quarter of the world’s biodiversity, Peace Parks recognises the importance of protecting this magnificent continent and all that she has to offer. This is being done through restoring landscapes back to health, building resilient communities and reconnecting Africa’s wild spaces through functioning and protected transboundary ecosystems.

We know that you might be curious as to what this all entails and the type of work being done to help make these changes and luckily you can, through Peace Parks TV.

Peace Parks TV takes you behind-the-scenes to get a glimpse into what the inner workings of the conservation world look like. Made up entirely from videos sent in by Peace Parks’ staff working on the ground throughout our protected spaces, Peace Parks TV takes you along with them from flying high above some of Africa’s mightiest rivers to community meetings, small-scale farmers, tracking illegal activities with ranger patrols and even documenting animal translocations from start to finish.

We guarantee that you will be left inspired to help us protect our natural heritage.
