It’s hard to imagine the poverty in some rural areas in Africa. Bringing back the wildlife brings tangible benefits to local communities like the Simalaha Community Conservancy. Until recently, Simalaha was almost devoid of wildlife, but conservation efforts mean it now boasts herds of zebra, wildebeest, impala and more. Because of this people’s lives of are being revitalised: through wildlife tourism and other related activities.
