Abandoned nets causing havoc

Fishing is a vital part of community life on the river Zambezi. Many locals ‘fish for the pot’ to feed their families. But overfishing and abandoned nets can be a disaster for wildlife. The Simalaha Fish Team patrols the river, working with local communities to help them fish sustainably.
