You never know what you’re going to come across when you’re travelling out in the bush in Southern Africa. So, it usually pays to leave plenty of time to get to meetings. On his way to the Southern African Wildlife College, Gordon stops the jeep to allow a majestic bull elephant to cross the road. Bull elephants are known to move from one herd to another in search of a mate, so they can often be found alone, like this one. With a height of four metres and weighing around six tonnes, it is always wise to let them take priority on the road.
